We had an awesome time and got some amazing feedback from our affogato and alco-gatos!

And cass and Callum ended up dancing in the la Marzocco booth… Another normal day at Shoreditch Grind!

The Black Card
The Black Card is back from Monday and better than ever! You can now earn cash back on every £ you spend, not just on coffee. Simply hand over your card every time you spend and after a few visits when you reach £25 total spend an auto-credit of £2.50 will be applied to your next cheque. The same as getting every 10th coffee free, but now you’ll get there faster by earning on everything you spend, with no points, no maths, and no faff…. just a straight discount on coffee, beans, food, cocktails, beer… and well everything!

We also now sell Gift Cards, and just in time for Christmas! Available in £10 increments, they make a great present, either for someone else or for yourself – why not make your morning even slicker and top up your card ‘oyster style’ to see you through the week?!

As a black card holder you also receive other benefits such as £5 cocktails every day (see below) plus invites to our free Cocktail Masterclasses and other special events. In the future we’ll add other benefits plus the ability to top up your card online.

What else is new?
We know that lots of you love to come and soak up the atmosphere at Shoreditch Grind, but also sometimes we know you just want to get in and out with your coffee as quickly as possible!

We’ve been working hard to do everything we can to make sure we can serve you as quickly and efficiently as possible:
We’ve just put in two brand new, beautiful La Marzocco machines (two 2 group machines in place of the one 3 group we had before) so that at busy times we can double up on staffing and smash out your coffee’s much more quickly!
We’ve put in a slick new iPad based till system (actually 2 of them!) in place of the lone old box we had before so taking orders and payments is faster too!

Now Serving Cocktails!

We are delighted to announce that alongside our existing fantastic coffee and food we are now also serving a very small but awesome selection of cocktails, wines and beers… and we’re open much later – until 11pm Mon-Thurs and Sunday, and right through until 1am on Fridays and Saturdays. We will also always serve coffee whenever we are open.

With the introduction of alcohol we’ll be doing what we do best here at Shoreditch Grind… keeping it small and simple but making sure every single thing we do is done really really well! We think you are going to love our cocktails and the initial feedback we’ve had during soft launch has been really really good.

We also now have an outdoor decking area which is great in the sun, come and check it out as soon as you can! Black Card Holders can also enjoy 2 for 1 cocktails Wednesdays and Thursdays until 7pm throughout September.
